Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession specialised in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical musculoskeletal disorders, and their effects on the nervous system.

As chiropractors, we treat all kind of patients from children and pregnant women, to adults of all ages and sportspeople.

The number of visits needed varies depending on the condition being treated and the individual needs of the patient. Following a full consultation and assessment, your chiropractor will be able to advise your on an appropriate plan for care to give you relief from pain and to help prevent recurrence of the problem.

During your first visit, we will discuss your medical history, any current symptoms or concerns you may have and what your goal for care is. We will also perform a physical exam and may advise referral for further diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, if necessary.

Yes. All chiropractors must be registered with the General Chiropractic Council who regulate the profession. All chiropractors have to complete a 4 or 5 year Master of Chiropractic degree from an accredited university to be able to register, and must also complete annual continued professional development.

Chiropractic treatment is usually painless, and in fact some patients experience relief immediately following an adjustment. Occasionally, if you are in moderate to severe pain, you may experiencing some discomfort, if this is the case please talk to your chiropractor and they can tailor the techniques used appropriately.

It is not unusual to experience some discomfort in the 24-48 hours following an adjustment, this is normal and your chiropractor will advise you how to manage this if required.

Free parking is available on site. As you enter the North Grange Industrial Estate please park on the gravel parking area to the right-hand side just after the entrance. The clinic is then a very short walk on the left (look for the sign!).

The majority of insurance providers in the UK will cover chiropractic care. Please check with your provider.
